About Slice Pie Company
We’ve put long hours into watching this little seed grow more and more each day, into something grand; something larger than initially anticipated. The best part? I get to do this every day with my family.
You’ll frequently catch my mother rolling out crust, placing orders, preparing ribbon, packaging, you name it, or my sister and brother, even volunteers, stepping in to work on a large order. My daughter, Eliana, tells me how one day she will be “The Pie Girl” and she can bake a pie from scratch all by herself. This isn’t just a family business, it truly is a family passion…
However, the dream began with my father. He dreamt of Slice many years before I was even a thought. Our recipes have been passed down from generation to generation with innovative tweaking by my father, who believed so much in our recipes that he entered our Apple Pie and WON First Place at the North Carolina State Fair, with our unmatched signature crust! Fast forward a few years and add me to the mix– someone who dreamed of turning our shared passion of baking into a lifestyle, and something that we can continue to pass down to our family.
Each day we gain a new customer, a new “like”, a new cheerleader. Having others join in our excitement and spread the word about our dream is overwhelming. Honestly, if it weren’t for all of you sharing and liking our posts, retweeting, instagramming or telling your friends and family about our business, Slice wouldn’t be growing at the fast pace it’s growing today.
We’re now serving our, made from scratch, pies in Triangle restaurants, shipping nationwide, delivering locally, serving large corporate events, weddings, and giving back to local charities and organizations often. You may have also seen us on My Carolina Talk and our most recent feature on the cover of Cary Magazine and we were nominated for Best Pies in Indy week.
To see Slice boldly stepping in the front of the line as a sought after pie business in the Triangle area is simply amazing! Thank you. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for the large conversations and even the small whispers about Slice. All of it is making a difference and turning our dream into a reality.
